Facilities Construction Project Manager
Pilatus is hiring a Facilities Construction Project Manager to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our U.S. facility construction projects. What you do
- Works with design firms and general contractors to the company's best interest
- Provides personal project oversight to maintain an intimate and detailed knowledge of the projects in process in various U.S. locations
- Reviews all plans and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and constructability and provides reporting to the company and architect
- Attends project meetings to assist the company in understanding of all issues as to enable an informed decision process
- Prepares and distributes regular project reports to key stakeholders
- Provides design consultation and participates in design reviews throughout the construction process
- Conducts thorough document reviews, including plans, specifications, and contracts
- Manages project costs within approved budget constraints
- Maintains communication with the steering committee, design-build team, and contractors to ensure alignment and accountability
- Develops and maintains a complete project record containing all plans, photos, records, and documentation
- Participates in contract negotiations and ensures proper interpretation and enforcement Other Duties/Responsibilities
- Plans and facilitates regular project status meetings
- Oversees the contractor submittal review process
- Coordinates and manages change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval
- Reviews and approves contractor pay applications and invoices
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or as general contractor
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and project life cycles
- Proficiency in reading and understanding design drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Broad knowledge of facility design, operations, and maintenance
- Effective oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Experience with MS Office Suite, CAD, Bluebeam, and Procore
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee multiple project sites
