Procurement Manager (Aftermarket)
Pilatus is hiring a Procurement Manager to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and meeting operational needs with a specific focus on aftermarket aircraft components. This role requires a strategic approach to supplier relationships, cost optimization, and risk mitigation within a global supply chain network. In addition, you will oversee the sourcing, procurement, and management of aftermarket aircraft components, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. A successful individual in this role will possess proactive problem-solving and relationship-building with the ability to address supplier challenges in real-time. What you do
- Manages and optimizes relationships with North American suppliers specializing in aftermarket aircraft components, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and performance expectations
- Develops and implements procurement strategies to enhance supplier performance, minimize risks, and achieve cost savings in the aftermarket sector
- Ensures availability of critical aftermarket components to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations
- Monitors supplier compliance with regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Acts as an escalation point for critical supplier issues and facilitates timely resolution
- Collaborates with internal teams, including supply chain, engineering, finance, and MRO operations, to support business objectives
- Leads cost-reduction initiatives and contributes to procurement process improvements
- Negotiates supplier agreements to secure favorable pricing and contract terms for aftermarket components
- Conducts supplier risk assessments and develops mitigation strategies
- Ensures alignment with global supply chain strategies and corporate objectives
- Utilizes data analytics and business intelligence tools to track supply chain KPIs and drive efficiency
- Travels domestically and internationally on short notice as required
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years in procurement or supply chain management, with experience in aftermarket aircraft components procurement preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, particularly in the MRO and aftermarket sectors
- Ability to leverage data and analytics for decision-making
- Proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of procurement contract terms, conditions, and ITAR compliance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
