Chief Engineer Utility Aircraft

Your Tasks

• Responsible for the technical oversite of all engineering activities on the PC-12 aircraft
• Review and approval of all PC-12 technical documentation, including technical memos and certification reports
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and company policies throughout the product development process
• Manage development project technical risk and ensure that appropriate mitigation strategies are in place
• Support cross functional activities, internal liaison and potential for direct liaison/support with external supplier companies and the airworthiness authorities

With this you convince us

• Masters of Science in Engineering with focus on aerospace engineering
• Minimum 15 years work experience in aircraft development with good knowledge across all engineering development disciplines (Safety, Mechanical/Avionics Systems, Structural analysis)
• Detailed knowledge of FAR/CS 23, with significant experience in aircraft level certification activities
• In depth understanding of aircraft development and system engineering processes and standards
• Fluency in English (at least C1), German would be an advantage
• Great abilities for teamwork and excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
